Joshua Parker is the Owner of Bike Medix Ltd. Prior to finding his love for motorcycles, he was an F15 Crew Chief in the United States Air Force. In 2007 Josh attended Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Florida where he graduated and received the Top Tech award in Kawasaki.
After college Josh moved to Montana and furthered his knowledge while working on Can-Am and Ski-Doo products as a BRP Technician. In 2010 Josh moved back to Ohio and continued working for a local Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki dealership. While employed he became a Yamaha master technician, as well as the dealerships, lead technician gaining experience building champion trike kits on Honda Goldwing’s.
Josh has a vast knowledge of the motorcycle industry and in 2018 started Bike Medix Ltd. He originally started doing mobile jobs, which consisted of going to a customer’s house and working out of a trailer. The demand for this became more and more as the community learned about Josh and word of mouth set fire to the Bike Medix reputation.
In 2019 with the push of his girlfriend at the time, Josh took Bike Medix Ltd full time working many date nights and long hours in the garage. After a slight zoning issue, COVID-19, and a wedding proposal Josh and his fiancé decided to give it to God and take a leap of faith by opening a brick-and-mortar building in March of 2020.
You may ask yourself why these crazy love birds would open a motorcycle shop with barely two pennies to rub together, four children, in the middle of a pandemic, in a building that had no drywall, no running water, no heat, and just a speckle of hope in the horizon. The simple answer is FAITH. The more detailed answer is….
1 Corinthians 9-13- the one who plows and the one who threshes the grain might both expect a share of the harvest. Since we have planted spiritual seed among you, aren’t we entitled to a harvest of physical food and drink? If you support others who preach to you shouldn’t we have an even greater right to be supported? But we have never used this right. We would rather put up with anything than be an obstacle to the Good News about Christ. Don’t you realize that those who work in the temple get their meals from the offerings brought to the temple? And those who serve at the altar get a share of the sacrificial offerings.
If you ask Mr. and Mrs. Parker today what has brought their business as far as it has. They are both going to tell you Faith and Trust in God. Josh might even jokingly say “I just work here, she’s the real boss”. All jokes aside our customers are the reason we are in business. We want to give our customers the best service around with the fairest price. Being able to minister to people is just a plus for us.
